What is Manscaping?
In our country, the topic of personal grooming is
somewhat taboo for men. While it is more common for women to talk about or
practice personal grooming by shaving and waxing, some men continue to see
manscaping as vain or even effeminate.
But the times they are changing…
So What is it?
Simply put, manscaping is the act of removing unwanted hair
(other than scalp hair), from men’s bodies, by waxing, shaving, etc. While the
idea of manscaping can be terrifying to men, it has become a popular trend. Why
is it a Thing Now? While researching this topic, I discovered a few tutorial
videos promoting manscaping and offering tips on how to remove the hair down
there. What fascinated me most were the viewership figures. More and more men
are becoming aware of the importance of manscaping, its benefits, and moving to
male spa treatments. According to www.dictionary.com, manscaping is (of a man) to
remove (unwanted body hair other than scalp hair) by waxing, shaving, etc.
The idea of manscaping can be terrifying to most men, but it

Why is manscaping a thing now?
While researching this article, I discovered a few tutorial
videos from Gillette promoting manscaping and how-tos to take off the hair down
there. What fascinated me was the viewership figures. More men are aware of the
importance of manscaping, its benefits, and moving to male spa treatments. I
have heard numerous stories of men and their first manscaping experience. It
was overwhelming, so I have decided to help them out.
Three Reasons Why Men Should Manscape
To Promote Personal Hygiene. Medical studies show that hair collects dead skin cells, urine, and sweat. Trimming or shaving below the belt can reduce the spread of bacteria, unpleasant odors, and STDs.
For a Better Sex Life. I had a discussion with a few women, and 75% prefer some sort of trimming or shaving ‘down there.’ Some women mentioned being turned on when men manscape. It can increase the chances of oral sex, according to recent studies, and demonstrates that men take personal hygiene seriously. Besides, who wants hair in their mouth?

To Gain Confidence. Men who take dignity in how they look, are more successful in their personal and professional life than men who don’t. It presents the best version of you. Plus, it boosts your self-esteem when you are ready to jump out in your birthday suit.

wash and sanitize your hands before starting the process.

that you take your time. To avoid any accidents, using a small mirror can help
with direction and accuracy. For shaving, it is more delicate and requires
flexibility.
Shower Afterwards. A hot shower can eliminate any lingering
bacteria or remove the trimmings in the shaved/trimmed area.
